Charter Reporting Requirements

Charter Members are required to report annually against their commitments towards the Charter.

Key reporting requirements:
  • Members have to report annually and no later than 12 months after the end of their financial year.
  • There are two review rounds per year, one in the spring (last day for submission: 1 April) and one in the autumn (last day for submission: 1 October).
  • Members have to report using the GRI’s NGO Sector Supplement and specifically the components included in the Charter Reporting Guidelines which is a subset of the entire GRI NGO Sector Supplement.

Please read carefully through the complete set of Reporting Requirements and Reporting Guidelines.

Best framework
“The INGO Accountability Charter provides the best framework for World Vision to fulfil our commitment to accountability. It is comprehensive, providing an umbrella for reporting to all of our stakeholders on many different aspects of our work. Our commitment to the pursuit of excellence in all that we do is reinforced through interaction with our peers and the discipline of annual reporting to internationally recognised standards and assessment by an Independent Review Panel.”
