Peer Advice Groups

Charter Members are keen to find effective ways to learn from each other and therefore the Charter Secretariat is running on-going Peer Advice Groups. In these groups, colleagues from various organisations meet peers to share knowledge and exchange challenges in a trusted and confidential setting. Some of the topics Peer Advice Groups are engaging with are:

  • Data Protection & Privacy
  • Governance
  • Programme Effectiveness
  • Driving Organisational Learning
  • Complaints Handling Mechanisms
  • Anti-Corruption
  • Environmental Performance
  • Stakeholder Engagement

Topics outside of this spectrum are of course very welcome. If you are interested to join or establish a Peer Advice Group, please do not hesitate to contact the Charter Secretariat and we will be happy to connect you with the group.

“The Charter offers an important opportunity to reflect on, learn from and connect with peers around the issues of accountability in general, and to share experiences and best practice around topics of importance and relevance to the sector more broadly and the role and responsibility of INGOs in particular."

Abby Maxman, Deputy Secretary General, CARE International
