Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the INGO Accountability Charter Company is the yearly meeting for all Charter Member Organisations. Each international Member Organisation has a voting right at the meeting. Affiliate members are welcome to join the discussions at the meeting.

As stated in the Company’s Articles of Association, at the AGM Members monitor the performance of the Board, receive the Directors’ report of the Company’s activities since the previous AGM, elect Board Directors, approve changes and amendments of the Charter and discuss any other developments of the Charter.

2012 AGM

The 2012 AGM will take place on 30 March in London. At this years’ meeting, we are hoping to adopt a new membership structure, which is more in line with the Five Years Strategy that was adopted at the AGM in April 2011. We will also discuss the possibilities of converging the Charter with other accountability initiatives. More information will follow soon.

2011 AGM

The 2011 AGM took place on 13 April in Berlin. At this meeting, a Five Year Strategy for the Charter was adopted; two new Board members were elected, and the GRI NGO Sector Supplement reporting framework and the work of the Independent Review Panel were discussed. We also heard input from representatives from the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) on how this initiative could relate to the Charter’s activities.
