- enhance transparency and accountability, both internally and externally;
- encourage communication with stakeholders; and
- improve our performance and effectiveness as organisations

The INGO Accountability Charter provides a recognised standard for good governance for NGOs. It complements the World YWCA Standards of Good Management and Accountability and Internal Control System and has become an integral part of our annual governance and review process
