Support for Members

The Charter provides training and support to Members on reporting and wider accountability issues.

Members’ Workshops

As one part of this support, the Charter organises annual Member workshops. The 2010 workshop focused on the GRI NGO Sector Supplement, and the 2011 workshop on NGOs’ Environmental Performance. You will find more information about the workshops here.

Peer-review

The Charter is also planning to introduce a process of peer-reviews. You will find more information about this here soon.

Oxfam Great Britain has produced guidelines to help NGOs getting started with reporting against the GRI NGO Sector Supplement. You can donwload them here.

In their first review round of Member Organisation’s reports in March 2011, the Independent Review Panel produced a collection of examples of what they saw as Good Practice on reporting against the GRI Sector Supplement. You can download these here. After the second review round in October 2011, the Independent Review Panel updated the Good Practice on GRI reporting, the updated version of the document is available here.
