Open Information Policy

Accountable Now relies upon the trust of its stakeholders to fulfill its promise of strengthening accountability and transparency in the CSO sector. We therefore commit to be open and objective in assessing our own work and in our dealings with all of our stakeholders. Accountable Now has a firm commitment to relevant, timely and pro-active transparency captured in our Open Information Policy.

Environmental Policy

Accountable Now recognises that its day-to-day operations impact the environment in a number of ways. We are therefore committed to minimise the potentially harmful effects of its activities wherever and whenever possible according to the regulations in our Environmental Policy.

Anti-Corruption & Conflict of Interest Policy

Accountable Now advocates a zero tolerance approach towards fraud and unethical activities. Like for any other organisation, fraud is an ever-present threat to the resources and reputation of Accountable Now and we address it in our Anti-Corruption Policy. We furthermore established rules for the avoidance and disclosure of a Conflict of Interest.

Procurement Policy & Travel Policy for Trustees

In order to use our resources accountably and make sure that funds are spent for the purpose that they were given, Accountable Now has put in place a Procurement Policy and a Travel Policy for Board of Trustees.

International Aid Transparency Initiative

The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) is a donor driven initiative to provide more transparency on aid flows. It is a reporting protocol that allows for greater comparability of a huge quantity of data. As such, it complements Accountable Now’s intention to provide more information on the quality of CSO work. Accountable Now is a IATI member as of January 2014. This membership commits Accountable Now to promote the IATI standard and allows it to participate in its further development to better suit the needs of CSOs.
